The March of Progress

It has taken me a while to get to these adVance fixes because I've been immersed in video games and certain life-related activities, but now your wizard can choose a frankly absurd number of spells to scribe.  Hooray.

Known Spells Error

Already a goof has been discovered in the new spreadsheet.  What else is new?

More Beta Blues + Introducing adVance

One of the most frequent requests I get is for something to handle spell lists.  Such a system was too involved to just tack onto sCoreGen itself, because it would slow down things for people who didn't need spells.  Like Hero Forge, I pursued a spell list generator as a secondary project.  Theirs was Spell Forge, and it's excellent for what it does.  Mine is adVance.  Where Spell Forge was comprehensive, the focus for adVance is customizability.

I have used the sheet design and data tables from Spell Forge, but I'm using a different method of processing them -- keeping spell data in an all-text worksheet so that it can be more easily modified, creating an all-text method of entering and interpreting class spell progression, spell list and spell type, as well as a method for generating text of spell lists for GMs putting together NPCs.

Let me know especially if you find any errors in general or Pathfinder Beta compatibility in particular, but also how well it fits the needs of your character generation and maintenance.

As for sCoreGen, I did an audit of the classes, including the whole list of Cleric domains and the sorcerer bloodlines stuff, so any change from Alpha 3 to Beta should have been noticed and implemented.

Beta Believe It!

I have implemented all the changes in Pathfinder Beta that I am aware of in this version, except those that were too ambiguous to be coded accurately.

Note that where spell changes have been listed as "updated" this refers to an update in the spell list manager I've been working on which is not ready for public release.  If you know of any other changes I have not noticed, please feel free to drop me a line.  I'm sure there are more, but at this point I'm going to need to grind through page after page to spot the differences.
